Sushma is currently Chief Change Officer at Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Prior to joining the preeminent advocate for women’s rights, Sushma was a senior executive and culture strategist at Accenture, advising Fortune 100 companies in the United States and globally address strategic challenges. Originally from Miami, she co-founded the Miami Worker Center, initiating its efforts to organize childcare workers, address gentrification, engage in strategic communications, and mobilize voters of color.  ​Sushma earned her MBA from Kellogg School of Management, MPA from Harvard Kennedy School, and BA from Brown University. She was named 2009 Paul and Daisy Soros New American Fellow, 2010 Harvard Center for Public Leadership Dubin Emerging Leader Fellow, 2007 Miami Fellow, and 2006 Miami Power Women. Sushma serves on the National Council for Graywolf Press, Advisor to the National Domestic Workers Association’s NDWA Labs, and Visiting Faculty at Harvard Kennedy School.
