Terence Long

Terence Long is a writer, artist and communications specialist with 20 years of experience working with labor, nonprofit and community-based arts organizations. He started his career at SEIU as an organizer on the historic campaign to win a union for majority African American security officers in Los Angeles. Terence’s plays examine the American past, present and future through a critical lens of race and class, and have been produced and workshopped across the country. He is currently the Communications Director for the Ella Baker Center in Oakland, a nonprofit that organizes Black and Brown communities to shift resources away from prisons and policing.
