Sam Robles (she/they/ella) is a strategic communicator that has worked on shaping media around immigration, workers’ rights, reproductive justice and elections. Her work includes leading a statewide paid sick days campaign in three major Texas cities, coordinating a statewide rapid response to Texas’ latest voter purge, and running digital wage theft campaigns against bad employers. She is the former communications director of the Workers Defense Project. Sam was born and raised in the borderlands of South Texas, with a small stint in Minnesota. Sam is a proud big sister, a zealous meal prepper, and an occasional runner.
