Rosa Navarro

Rosa Navarro- is the Domestic Worker Organizer at Latino Union, where she leads the strategy and organizing for domestic workers. She is also an organizer with Organized Communities Against Deportations (OCAD), where when she is not organizing domestic workers to build a strong worker movement, she is organizing families and individuals to fight their deportation cases. She has over 10 years of experience working as an advocate and community organizer for the Latino/Immigrant community. She is the proud daughter of Mexican migrant farmworkers from Rural Oregon, where she grew up. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Portland State University as a first-generation college student in History and Sociology. She holds a Master’s Degree in International Human Rights Law from the American University in Cairo, Egypt. She has organized for social justice in Mexico, Egypt, and Palestine. On her free time, you can find her out dancing cumbia or supporting local community events.
