Leonitha Francis is a native of the Bronx, NY and attended Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD where her purpose was ignited. Leah is committed to community service and continuing the circle of giving, with an emphasis on teens and young adults.
Having led youth groups in her local church in New York City and worked alongside Terrie M. Williams and Xavier Artis (Stay Strong Foundation), Loreen Arbus (The Loreen Arbus Foundation), Gale Bershon (United Cerebral Palsy) and the Rev. MarQuerita Story (These Are The Daughters/Baptist Resource Network: Southern NJ & Philadelphia); she has developed several gifts and
practices necessary to effectively fuel and execute her vision of seeing teens and young adults empowered to become great contributors in society.
She launched The Social Agency, LLC in 2015, a consulting firm for social media branding, advertising and tools to aid small businesses, nonprofit organizations and personalities. In 2017, she founded, Urban Mentor, to support individuals serving youth in urban and under-served communities. Urban Mentor was created to serve urban youth by cultivating a network of passionate mentors with the tools and training needed to be effective in the lives of urban youth.
Presently she serves as a Mentor Leader for the Daughters of Esther Rites of Passage Ministry and CREW Leader Lead for the middle & high school E22 Youth ministry at the Reid Temple A.M.E. Church in Maryland as well as a volunteer with Justice for Juniors in Washington, D.C. serving the D.C. Youth Rehabilitation Services.
