Kenza Hadj-Moussa is Communications Director at TakeAction Minnesota, a multiracial people’s organization working to build independent political power. She previously served as the communications director of the Minnesota Coalition for the Homeless where she advanced statewide campaigns that secured over $200 million in state funding for housing and services. Her communications work started at a local homeless shelter, where she interviewed hundreds of people on a Flip camera to get their stories to lawmakers and the media. Kenza is chair of the Minnesota Council of Nonprofits. She has a Masters in Advocacy and Political Leadership from UMD and is a graduate of Guilford College in North Carolina. She’s a certified administrator of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator and a Gemini. In her spare time, she can be found reading, at a show, or trying to meditate. She lives in St. Paul.
